Storm ov the Teton's

I came to this spot on three occasions over a three year period. On the second visit I noticed that the clouds came over the mountains around mid-day. So on the third visit I arrived on the scene at about 10 a.m. and set up three cameras. I then waited patiently for the next two hours and lo and behold, there came the clouds. I had just a few moments to capture this image as the clouds moved quite quickly. This image was captured with a 4 x 5 view camera and a 90mm f5.6 Super Angulon lens. The negative turned out to be excellent and straight prints with only minor dodging is required.
