I took this picture from the middle of the suspension bridge - a pretty wild look to both sides.
I think looking at the path, the bridge and this river makes one appreciate that it was impossible to get the 7 wagons out of the woods. This view also shows that the path was made through originally dense forest.

Entre les conifères bien montrés dans tous leurs détails, la rivière tumultueuse dévale une pente à l'eau mouvementée qui franchira une petite cascade et s'enfoncera dans la forêt. Magnifique paysage sauvage, resserré dans ton beau cadrage axé d'en-haut sur la rivière impressionnante! Compliments Adele! Bises et bon dimanche à toi et aux tiens! Michèle

Fantastisch... ich erinnere mich an eine Szene, dass mein Onkel sich nach einer Wanderung in so einen Gebirgsbach abkühlen musste ..
