The Living Forest (53) : Wood Cranesbill
As its name suggests, it is a wild flower of the woodlands.
Depending on soil conditions, the colour of the attractive flowers can range from mauve to sky blue.
It got its name because when the petals have fallen, the flower-head looks like the head and beak of a Crane (bird)

German name : Wald-Storchschnabel
Latin name : Geranium sylvaticum
