Very beautiful automn picture and the long and full of perspective alley suits a lot to it.Definitely the old pump house is the heart of the picture and it's good that such landmarks remain defiant there adding to the history of the place...regards alexander

the house has a strong aura and seems very much alive, keeping an eye on what's going on in the adjoining alley, maybe even judging the passersby… ; ) for me it's an image foreshadowing the melancholia of autumn – its gentle side! and yes, that view down the alley with the figure walking away from us: wow, great! couldn't agree with rob's words more! greetings, sabine.Mark Billiau. 08/09/2014 8:36

Well composed with the pathway leading us past the Pump house and further into the scene. The small figure adds to the perspective. Good tones.:))
