The steps up to the Mandalay hill

1,729 steps to the top of the Mandalay Hill. In the meantime there is built up an asphalt road to bring the visitors to the hilltop by busses or pickups.

It makes me great pleasure to select and scann old photos out of my archive. Working on them it makes new memories about a honeymoon tour 33 years ago. Due the poor storing condition some photos suffered under dust and fungus.
