Amazing scene! And the section Emotions is just right for this. But were you not just a wee bit far away to see the horses well? I suppose being there is maybe more important;-)Cheers, Kathryn

Dirk, this was taken on the biggest day in Australia's (horse) racing calendar - the Melbourne Cup. The event draws in huge, colourful crowds; a very Australian celebration of all things punting...........
