Trongsa village, Trongsa dzong and Ta dzong

Trongsa dzong is the largest dzong fortress in Bhutan, located in Trongsa (formerly called Tongsa) in Trongsa district, in the centre of Bhutan.
Higher yet on the mountainside is a large watchtower, called "Ta Dzong", to guard the dzong from enemies.
