Es war Aachener Handwerkermarkt, vielleicht hat das Jemand ein X für ein U gemacht oder den Stoff in Fuß und nicht in Elle gemessen.

Well it was a fair of craftsmen and maybe some one did some dirty tricks measuring the textile.
