Diagonal photographic stucture is a difficult thing to deal with. I, my self, have not managed to "catch" frames of this kind successfully (cruel is the world, isn't it?) so far. Congratulations for the unique simplicity of this special landscape!

white and black and gray – a monochrome winter wonderland which would "fit in" perfectly with your "pencil of nature" shots, with those "rural" fence posts running diagonally through the picture, artfully dividiting it up into two parts, with a white vaccum of nothingness, called snow ; )), in the foreground and a black and misty gray silent something in the back! silent until… "sleighbells ring, are you listening?… ; )) a beautiful winterscape indeed! greetings, sabine.
