Meine Fotos sind Visionen meiner Umgebung, keine Dokumentation. Diese Visionen sind gekennzeichnet durch starke Kontraste, hohe Sättigung und Schärfe. Die Verwendung dieser Stilmittel ist inspiriert von den Fotoarbeiten von Ansel Adams und Gemälden Max Liebermanns.

Zur Gestaltung meiner Visionen verwende ich digitale Techniken wie Exposure Fusion, HDR und Tone Mapping. Die Visionen, die ich so gestalte, gefallen vielen Betrachtern, andere sind enttäuscht, weil sie von Fotos eine Dokumentation der Wirklichkeit erwarten. Aber die fotografische Dokumentation meiner Umwelt habe ich nach vielen Jahren Tätigkeit als Meeresbiologe hinter mir gelassen. Jetzt genieße ich es, Visionen realisieren zu können.

Begonnen habe ich mit dem Fotografieren bereits als Schüler (Schwarz-Weiß, Fotolabor). Vor mehr als vierzig jahren kam die Fotografie von Farb-Dias dazu, vor ,zehn Jahren bin ich auf Digital-Fotografie umgestiegen, beschäftige mich mit der Bearbeitung von Bildern im RAW-Format und arbeite viel mit Exposure Fusion, HDR, Tone Mapping.

Während meines Studiums konnte ich eine professionelle Ausbiildung zur Fotografie für Dokumentationszwecke machen, Unterwasser-Fotografie, Makro- und Mikrofotografie.

Ich fotografiere mit Kameras von Minolta, Nikon, Sony, Panasonic (Unterwasser), bevorzuge aber meine Canon EOS 80D.

Meine thematischen Schwerpunkte sind Landschaft, Natur, Tiere, Pflanzen, Archtektur, Technik, Reisen, Portrait ....

Hier auf bei fotocommunity.de konzentriere ich mich zunächst die Präsentation von Fotos aus Portugal, einem Land, das ich vom ersten Kennenlernen - genauso wie seine Menschen - ins Herz geschlossen habe :-)

Bei der Portrait-Fotografie bevorzuge ich Menschen in Alltagssituationen, beim Sport, ungestellt (wirkende) Portraits, Street-Fotografie.

Ich nehme Foto-Aufträge, z.B. für Familienfeierlichkeiten, an (VB). Mit Models arbeite ich ausschließlich auf TFP-Baisis

Models gebe ich gerne die Möglichkeit, sich so fotografieren zu lassen, wie sie selbst gerne gesehen werden möchten, begrüße kreative Ideen und Mitarbeit ....

My photos are visions of my environment, not documentation. These visions are characterized by strong contrasts, high saturation and sharpness. This use of these stylistic devices is inspired by the photographic works of Ansel Adams and the paintings of Max Liebermann.

To create my visions I use digital techniques like exposure fusion, HDR and tone mapping. Many viewers like the visions I create in this way, others are disappointed because they expect photos to document reality. But the photographic documentation of my environment I have left behind after many years of working as a marine biologist. Now I enjoy being able to realize visions.

I already started taking pictures as a student (black and white, photo lab). More than forty years ago I started taking colour slides, ten years ago I switched to digital photography, I work with RAW-format images and work a lot with Exposure Fusion, HDR, Tone Mapping.

During my studies I was able to do a professional training in photography for documentation purposes, underwater photography, macro and micro photography.

I photograph with cameras from Minolta, Nikon, Sony, Panasonic (underwater), but I prefer my Canon EOS 80D.

My main topics are landscape, nature, animals, plants, architecture, technology, travel, portrait ....

Here at fotocommunity.de I concentrate on presenting photos from Portugal, a country that I have taken to my heart from the first time I met it - just like its people :-)

When it comes to portrait photography, I prefer people in everyday situations, sports, candid (appearing) portraits, street photography.

I accept photo orders, e.g. for family celebrations (VB). I work with models exclusively on TFP-Baisis

I like to give models the opportunity to be photographed the way they would like to be seen, welcome creative ideas and cooperation ....
