1930 Bentley Blower I
The legendary Bentley Blower was THE car for the gentleman driver who not only used the car for travel but also on the track.
A frontal view of this spectacular car - very graphic and contrasty in an attempt to draw attention to the essence of this motor car.

You're welcome, Duschan!Actually, I am in the process of putting together a photo series titled "Gentleman's Car" and dug your photo up looking how others approached the same theme (looking for different views, both as suggestion and counterpoint). For my series, I decided on cream/sepia toning and a heavy vignette, like in these two:
Your explanation about recreating a darkroom process certainly helps to appreciate your photo better.
Keep up the good work and may you always have the right light!

Hi Tommy, thank you very much for your input. Actually, I was experimenting around, trying to find a "digital" approach to lith printing which I used to do in the darkroom. That explains the high contrast and rather harsh appearance. There was no real intention in this case to show a pragmatic "portrait" of the car as such. Your criticism is most appreciated. Cheers, Duschan

A spectacular view. The editing is fine, just too much for my taste...cream-coloured or sepia would have served a much better favour to a real gentleman's car.
