A Cry from the Road of Hunger

On the road in allahabad India, Pilgrims heading back hungry from the big Kumbh Mela Pilgrimage which takes place one every twelve years, stop at a station where individuals try to feed people with limited resources. This attempt of good faith quickly be comes unruly with people fighting to grab food while already holing on to hidden food. There is no empathy and fairness. This people know its feast or famine on the long road home.

Oft wir die wirklichen Menschen zu vergessen und nur die Schönheit in der Werbung in den Medien

We in Europe and the western world are simply lucky to be born here! The majority of the humans on our planet have to fight daily for their food.

I'm not a religious person and that makes it difficult for me to understand the energy behind the pilgrimage.
But denying cold, hunger, pain, the squeeze – to become a better person is one thing. To rip of the help someone lese already had received is another, I thought pilgrimage is to become a better human?
Confused but with best regards Sebastian
