Abu Sidra and his family
One year Abu Sidra, a bedoui from the Negev desert, brought his family and his flock to live on the edge of my kibbutz. We became friendly and often he invited me for coffee in his tent. At the end of the year, when the grasses were all eaten, he moved his flock back to the desert.
