After All Is Said and Done
The elder has reached the water and now reflects for the coming of the night alond the side of the road with half full plastic water bottle within reach. Life is nearing an end and there is still more prayers of forgiveness to cleans from her body, before the long trek home. Too far ahead to think of, her body will not go any further today. May tomorrow her yearning look will be answered, Maybe connect to her husband, or sister and parents she respected to the end. As one that lost his mother and family members you can't help but think that in prayer you connect, and maybe that is what the pain of pilgrimage is worth the task to say n the the I have not forgotten you and soon I will be coming home to your loving arms.
To all that recall a passing and one in progress. Awen. Namaste.
