The Lion's Gate Bridge, Stanley Park and the skyline of Vancouver still about 16 miles in the distant haze .... it took us another 4 hours to get there, but after almost a month away a great sight to see !!
it was difficult to take this image - our boat was rolling up and down and sideways, and the sailboat coming towards us was moving fast :-)))

i love it, when somewhere near the end of a classic pirate movie a swashbuckling buccaneer would put a hand up to shade his eyes and yell down from the crow's-nest: "land in sicht!" ah, that feeling of home coming: familiar sights, silhouettes, sounds, smells… ; )) a beautiful maritime impression, as always, adele! great, how the white sails stands out from the overall tone-on-tone blueness of the picture. the silhouette of the skyline and the bridge look just terrific! hugs and welcome home, sailor! ; )) sabine.
