Annapolis Spring No.2 - St Anne's Church

St. Anne's Episcopal Church is located on Church Circle in the Historic District of Annapolis.

The first church in Annapolis, it was founded in 1692. Three churches occupied the site, with the
present building, in Romanesque Revival style, completed, but for the steeple, in 1858. The steeple
would have to wait until 1866, after the American Civil War had ended.

The church was photographed in the golden late afternoon sunlight of a lovely spring day in Maryland's capital.
