All I can say is that I`m really "floored" by this photograph, it was done in the feeling of the "trummen films" of the post-war Germany 1945-1949

Sari is as if she`s gone back to Germany in jahre null...........it`s nostalgic but also sad and expresses loss in a time that few of us living now can even imagine what it was like to live in.........these were not happy times as we try to express in our retro photography but were trying times, but a time that history should never forget

I plan on doing work such as this when I return to Germany, with old cars and props to signify the end of the war and the start of a new beginning, repeating history even though it`s not happy is good while it teaches the young what was and what never should be again

PS The graffiti is perfect in the setting, while after the war thousands of buildings had something written on them, of people looking for loved ones or some sort of instructions or writing LSR (bomb shelter) usw.........

klasse.. wirkt wirklich "alt"... auch die umgebung.. sehr schöner blick... super! so einen koffer hab ich auch... grins.. ist aus holz und leder...

ich find's auch toll, sieht aus, als ob die frau kurz nach dem krieg wieder zurückkehrt in ihre heimat, oben rechts hätte ich das graffiti weggestempelt, das passt irgendwie gar nicht dazu. lg, rosalie

super inszeniert!!! gefällt mir super gut!!! hätte aber das fenster gerade gerückt oder halt das bild n bissi verzerrt an der linken seite ;)
