It is always a spectacle to observe and see the Japanese cranes in their habitat. Here I caught them in flight in front of Acer palmate trees making it a perfect combination with the red of the leaves.image taken at Kushiro Hokkaido Japan

Dear Regi,
I had to check where you are coming from. Roeselare was not a known city for me. I like your image. You catched the Japanese cranes in a wonderful way. And your equipment sounds great too :-) 600mm is a great focal lenght. And the image shows that it is worth the money.

  Hansjorg , first of all thanks for your comment , as to the image and lens, cranes are gracious and if they fly in front of a wonderfull back ground , what else can a photographer wish , having the 600 was at that time the appropriated lens , once the image made I posed my camera and enjoyed the flight as far as my eyes could follow them , Regards Regi
