Autumn leaf in Suspension
No filter, just late afternoon color temperature of circa 4.000 °K . Inside a pinewood, in a glance, a leaf floats down. Only one shot was took! Quick wide f stop [ 4 ]chosen to minimize depth of field. MONOCHROME! My beloved 200 micro Nikkor works fast!

I WAS WALKIN' THRU AN EUCALYPTUS WOOD WHEN I SAW THIS LEAF HANGING ON A SPIDER WEB. I PICKED UP MY 200mmMICRO-NIKKOR LENS, OPENED ITS DIAPHRAGM TO f4 IN ORDER TO GET SHALLOW DEPTH-OF-FIELD, "TURNED" MY FM-2 CAMERA TO OBTAIN A DIAGONAL COMPO & MADE THE SHOT. IT WAS SUNSET, THUS THE WHOLE PIC. HAS A GOLDEN LOW COLOR TEMPERATURE...JUST ONE SHOT. THE FILM WAS EPD (EKTACHROME 200).P.S. THE f4 LENS APERTURE MADE THE LITTLE WEB MELT WITH BACKGROUND!

very beautiful how the leave travels through the air. The background looks amazing too with these dark redish colors. SeraphineSergio Moreira 06/01/2005 22:32
