Best Friends on a Shuttle Train

It's just a 90-second ride under 42nd Street from Times Square to 42 St-Grand Central on the
New York City Subway system's Times Square-Grand Central Shuttle, connecting Subway
services on midtown Manhattan's East Side and West Side, and the trains are usually packed solid.

Fortunately, on this occasion, a bit past 1 AM on a recent December night, my car on the Shuttle was
not stuffed with standees, allowing me to capture this moment with a fellow rider and his "best friend."
