@Craig: this picture was shot on a small Island - Great Blasket - in front of the Dingle Peninsula in Ireland.
The island was abandoned in the 30th of the 20th century because the 150 people there were starving.
The island though brought some very good book writers also they they had no school for most of the time there.
Tomás O'Crohan (1857-1937) is one of them. You can surely find his book at Amazon. Today there is guided boat tours to the island. Fortunately they are not too crowded as there are only very small boats.
@Thomas: das Grün des Rasens sieht zwar etwas blass aus, ist aber richtig. Schau mal das Grün auf dem Steinhügel (Beehive Hut) an. Das ist ganz intensiv. Es liegt also eher daran, daß es - Irland untypisch - eine Woche lang nicht geregnet hat und die Sonne das Gras ausgetrocknet hat.

@Gabi: Du könntest Recht haben. Andererseits war das Licht sehr hart, könnte auch daran liegen.Grüße

Hallo Dirk,schönes Motiv und toller Blickwinkel.
Allerdings ist das Grün etwas blass.
Mir gefällts jedenfalls gut.
