BUTTONS FOR A LAZY SOCIETY 2
(C) Copyright Ray Steinberg 2009 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED.
In the "old days" you had to dial the number to make a phone call, you had to dial a safe combination to gain access to your valuables, you had to turn a key to gain entrance to the door of your home, or business.
In todays society, people have become down - right lazy. It's way too much effort to dial numbers, or turn a key anymore.
Today it's all about "pushing buttons" to achieve what you want.
Even gaining access to your car, and starting it, can all be done with just pressing buttons.
Today, manufacturers, go to great lengths to design "designer buttons" and consoles, that will catch the eye of the consumer, as the above photo shows.
PEOPLE HAVE BECOME DOWN - RIGHT LAZY !!!!
Even the people that have the power to end this world as we know it, rely on buttons to push to launch nuclear warheads.
Right now, a majority of people are even finding buttons to be too hard to push, and the manufacturers are giving them different options to use, instead of pushing buttons.
For instance, they can now gain access by just placing their finger on a plate, for a fingerprint scan, and the door opens for them, or they can look into a glass that scans their eye retina, and the door opens for them, or they can speak into a computer, and voice recognition software, opens the door for them. THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE TO PRESS THOSE HARD BUTTONS ANYMORE !!!!
IF THIS TECHNOLOGY KEEPS GOING LIKE THIS, HUMANS BORN IN THE FUTURE, WILL NOT HAVE ANY FINGERS DUE TO ATROPHY !!!!

Is'nt there even a saying. I will have to push the right buttons. Like pulling the right strings. Now, if you have to make a lot of calls it saves on your fingertips. On my cellphone I even just press one button to make the right call, since the numbers are all archived. Yes, the world is changing so quickly now a days and one often wonders if for better or for worse.Greetings Heinz
