Californian Condor observes his hunting grounds

During our trip on Mother Road we had a side trip to the fabulous Bryce Canyon.
Standing on the upper Inspiration Point I spotted this huge Condor, sailing on the updraft.
No wingbeat was necessary to climb up from the ground of the valley, really amazing.

Wàhrend unserer Reise auf der Route 66 machten wir auch einen Abstecher in den fabelhaften Bryce Canyon in Utah. Vom oberen Inspiration view point aus beobachtete ich diesen gewaltigen kalifornischen Kondor. Er nutzte den Aufwind der Morgenstunden und gelang ohne einen Flügelschlag zu uns hinauf. Ein grossartiges Erlebnis.
