Sur un piton rocheux, à 468 m d’altitude, la chapelle de Saint-Michel se dresse au-dessus des ruines du château de Mercoirol. Ce fort contrôlait l’ancienne voie romaine qui reliait Béziers à Cahors en longeant Mercoirol et Rhèdes.

Auf einem felsigen Gipfel in 468 m Höhe erhebt sich die Kapelle Saint-Michel über den Ruinen der Burg von Mercoirol. Diese Festung kontrollierte die alte Römerstraße, die Béziers entlang Mercoirol und Rhèdes mit Cahors verband.
