Nothingness! That's what I love! Colorado is being built up so quickly, with a projected one million people moving here in the coming years, I fear greatly for the wild places! Being gobbled up as we speak is a vital habitat for hawks, eagles and various other birds of prey, about eight miles from where I live. It is near Roxborough in a last holdout of wilderness and rolling prairie, abundant with prairie dogs, a main staple of birds like hawks and eagles, not to mention, deer, elk, foxes, coyotes. These pristine fields are slated to become a big beautiful housing development replete with shopping, restaurants, etc! Lots of people don't want this, but that really doesn't matter! We are outvoted by a government that see big tax revenues! It's heartbreaking!

I too am concerned. Not just for Colorado, but for the whole world as many areas that were once wild are being gobbled up and developed by humans. A really nice photo here.
