How absolutely inviting! I love the artistic editing treatment you gave to this lovely scene, Adele. I also like that lone bench in the commanding position above the pond. Your photos make me want to return to Vancouver - away too long and never got to experience this lovely spot.

  That must have been it, then - it just gives it a pleasantly hyper-realistic "look" that allows the viewer to savor all the different textures in the vegetation. It ends up looking more artistic than literal, which is nice!
