Cordulegaster boltonii male - gewone bronlibel - Golden-ringed dragonfly - Zweigestreifte Quelljungfer männchen - Cordulégastre annelé mâle.
The Golden-ringed Dragonfly is found along streams and flushes in heaths and bogs. In Britain the flight period is from mid June to mid September.
KEY IDENTIFICATION FEATURES:
-Large black species with strong yellow markings on sides of thorax
-abdomen black with yellow rings
-Eyes green in both sexes
