Crepe Myrtle, Summer Afternoon
The golden light of late afternoon sets off the colors of a Crepe Myrtle tree's blossoms in northern Virginia.
A Helios 58mm f/2 44-2 lens was used, via adapter, for effective focal length of 93mm (in 35mm/full-frame terms) on my APS-C crop sensor D-SLR. Exposure was at full aperture to allow the red blossoms to stand out from background.
