....Is the meaning of this Sculpture by Samson Kambalu entitled 'Antelope' .
The artist, born in Malawi in 1975, now lives and works in Oxford where he is Associate Professor of Fine Art.
In Trafalgar Square around Nelson's column there are four plinths, three of which are occupied by statues since the 19th century, while the fourth one ( known as the Fourth Plinth) hosts temporary artworks that change every two years. This one was installed in 2022 and is currently being replaced by another sculpture, so if you pass by Trafalgar it is useless to look for it: its gone. :))
