D.C. After Dark No.13 - Kennedy Center
Washington's John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, lighted in the colors of the Ukrainian flag.
The white structures belong to the REACH, the Center's performing arts annex, and the angular form is
Joel Shapiro's sculpture "Blue," which is situated on the lawn between the REACH and the Center.
A bicyclist cooperatively supplied some foreground color accents with his lighted front tire
as he shared the northbound Rock Creek Parkway with homeward-bound vehicular traffic.
The "wedge" seen at the upper right belongs to the pedestrian bridge that connects
the REACH, above that busy thoroughfare, to the Rock Creek Trail along the Potomac.
