Ein super Katzenporträt, sehr schön in Bilaufbau und Perspektive.
Danke für Deine Anmerkung zu "morgen wieder".
    Grüße Regina

You had me smiling while reading your tale about the "Katze, die auf die Mauer gesprungen ist".
    Lovely photo, nice story, Steve!

So eine schöne Katze! Da lohnt sich ein bisschen Deutsch natürlich schon, allein um das Foto zu titulieren!

And after seeing the other shot you posted on your blog, I almost like that other one even better, with kitty peeking around the wall...

    Congratulations, Steve.

    Best regards,
    Susana

Thank you, Sabine and Tom. Truly, one of the most enjoyable facets in this early stage of FC membership has been reading what other photogs see in one's work. Whether great cosmic plan or delightful serendipity before our lenses, ain't it all fun?

Sabine, your scenario is - Natürlich! - dead-on-accurate. How else could that little kitty have turned out so pretty? Ol' great, great Grossvater Thomas-Kater knew exactly what he was about, there in those cobblestoned alley-ways at 3 AM ;-)

    VG,
    Steve
    Yes, Tom, EOS-40D.

Sabine´s got the point perfectly! Charming, to say the least!
There´s nothing substantial to be added. And, like her, much appreciate the stories behind the picures!
    Gruß
    Tom

btw - beautifully sharp! It was the EOS40D, right?

And I fully agree - nothing in life is coincidence! Call it as you may... fate, or whatever, there´s one big "thinker and foreseer" behind it all...

the cat seems to match the wall it jumped on perfectly! proof of the fact that nothing in life is coincidence ; ))! while you were in college, studying storing away the sound of a rather far-fetched german sentence, the cat's grandfather's grandfather might have already roamed the streets of bad mergentheim to find himself a mate with a particular shade of gray in her fur to satisfy that strange longing in his tomcat's soul, that someday in the far-away future the careful choice of genes might matter to a grandson or -daughter of his and make him/her famous! and years later ist die katze dann endlich auf die mauer gesprungen! the wheel has come full circle ; ))))! great symbiosis between shot and story! great effective use of college education, too ; ))! greetings, sabine. p.s. enjoyed your story tremendously!
