Disarmament...
Greece
Aegean Sea
Cyklades
Amorgos island
In a past..gallant era the strong Aegean wind not only inflated ship sails but was also exploited in the best possible manner for everyday bare necessities by the much wiser locals. The windmill is one of the best examples and this is why the greek islands are loaded with those. Nowadays, these windmills are reduced to morbid remnants struggling to contribute to the landscape beauty or be used as an extravagant touristic accomodation by the local agencies..

Hopefully, before many moe years pass, someone will think to restore some of these iclonic mills to their former glory, they would add so very much to the environment and the beauty of the landscape.:))
