Down by the River (2)
the Mamquam River in Brackendale just north of Vancouver and looking south .... we came to see the eagles who feast on salmon here, but missed them ... so I photographed the landscape instead....
this year ca. 1600 (Yes!!!!) eagles were sighted here after a sharp decline in 2013 ... here is one of many links to the Brackendale eagles:

Was für ein herrliches Naturschauspiel muss es sein, wenn soo viele Adler sich zur Lachsjagd versammeln! Eine wundervolle Landschaftsaufnahme - ein sehr schöner Fleck für ausgedehnte Spaziergänge...
