the colors in this image are wonderful. i like your depth of field concept and the fact that you got onto the level of your subject (i lay in the streets for photos, too! :D ). if you scroll on this image as posted, you'll see how it may be more effective if you cropped some off the bottom, just below the crack right under the drain cover. that'll strengthen the d.o.f. leave the rest as is, though, it's a solid image.
