Environmental Portrait Within an Environmental Portrait - A New York Moment

My German friend and fellow photog Hans-Gerd Hacker and I met here on the F-C a few years ago, as we
discovered our mutual passion for shooting Subways and many other aspects of the New York cityscape.

This led (until the pandemic interrupted our enjoyable new "tradition")
to our getting together regularly in NYC to explore with our cameras.

On a very cold day in December 2018, our target was Brooklyn's Industry City (*) - reached, natürlich,
via Subway. We stopped along the way, as we both found this machine shop to be a photo-rich motif.

The man working there enjoyed the opportunity to be photographed, H-G enjoyed directing
the scene, and I enjoyed making this "environmental portrait within an environmental portrait." ;-)

This is its first appearance.
