Exiting the Sulphur Fumes Empty Handed

A man bites down on a towel to filter out the sulphur gas which causes pain in your lungs while unsuccessfully looking for a piece finds a piece of Sulphur large enough to collect in his basket.

all those different shades, textures, phases of green!! beautiful in an apocalyptic way, but only to us, the detached viewers of this shot. for the man it must be an everyday hell: "nourishing" him on the days he finds the pieces he needs, but killing him eventually. a strong eye-catching and eye-opening picture again – shockingly interesting to me, as i've never seen a place like this before. greetings, sabine.

as a picture impressive, as a situation: depressing.

it's terrible to see how some people have to work trying to earn something for their life while they lose the most precious and only treasure that they have: their LIFE...

one wonders how often this futile work and exposure to the deadly fumes happens ..... your image strong and telling with these massive clouds of dust and everything around the man turned to green and yellow !!
    greetings, Adele
