Fantastic Animal from an Art Deco Building in Rome (quartiere Coppede')

Rome has plenty of wonderful places, masterpieces of art and historical settings, many of them are wolrdwide famous but some places are not generally included in the touristic circuits and almost unknown to non-roman people. The Quartiere Coppede' was built in the Art Deco Period and it reflect in all the buildings included in this small area in the center of Rome, the fantastic view of some architects who took inspiration from the mithology, fantasy, different cultures and created a huge pantheon of animals or plants or human being to decorate these building and create a very fascinating athnosphere. This is a very interesting place for a photographer as there are a lot of nice element to be captured with the aid of a tele zoom len and this is what I did. This strange animal, reminding the Mesopotanian Lions is one of the decoration of these building.
