Fireworks display
At the celebration of 10 years since the re-development of Preston Docks in Lancashire, a festival was held, with a fireworks display at the end of the night. This is a shot of one of the big flashes - a hand-held image - then in Photoshop I saturated the image to boost the colours and used a touch of median blur before reversing it with a healthy dose of unsharp mask.
The reds are however the true colours - no colour manipulation other than in curves.
Canon EOS 300D, 1/60sec, F5/0 at ISO 200, Sigma18-55mm zoom lens at 34mm.
