Fish Delivery Man

In Puntaranas, a small costal town in Costa Rica, The Fish delivery man takes a rest in the heat with fresh fish in a plastic bag. If the fish is not cooked soon it will spoil. This is just one of the many problems of an infer structure falling apart for a community behind the what appears to carry the signs of the end of foreign tourism.

your image brings back memories, Glenn - I watched the fishermen in Puntarenas cure and dry their fish in the sun (eel in their catch) ... one hopes the cruise ship will continue to come and bring money into their economy (may it be local crafts and restaurants, taxis, tours into the interior, work for dockworkers, harbour fees, port taxes).
    greetings, Adele

In that heat he needs to get that catch frozen or sold very quickly :-)
Seems a harsh environment to live and work in for everyone

    Regards
