For The Sake of Spirality

This guy is wearing the ash of dead people, the The Kumbh Mela also brings out the circus show from one point of view, but in reality, the people that approach you are the beggars looking for money. He started shaking and I left . I wasn't into a performance,

that's a great photo Glenn! First I thought it was a cut from a relevant film...then that it could have been a mask of an ancient Greek tragedy actor..You see, almost unconciously, we always tend to "extract such incidents from the content of an unpleasant but existing everyday reality!..
    greetings alexander

an eye-catching image and an eye-opening caption to go with it! judging from the many clicks it got, i assume many others have been inexplicably drawn to his wild-eyed looks, too! as children we would have run from him! or would have turned the page screaming, when coming across him in a photo book. a crazy look, a "walking demon" aura, the (alleged?) ashes of the dead on his face: an expert performance and theatrical evocation of fear the child in us will forever be attracted and hysterically repelled by at the same time. but of course, that's my very "western" point of view and experience. the traditional religious aspects all but escape me… the evocation of child-like fear – i find it most disturbing in many religions of the world, including my own… greetings, sabine.
