Am 12. Dezember 2005 wäre er 90 geworden. Unvergessen, einer seiner berühmtesten Songs, von vielen Interpreten nachgespielt und nachgesungen: Sein unvergeßlicher Welthit "I DID IT MY WAY", der auch in meinem Repertoir zum ausgesprochenen Lieblingssong wurde.

And not the words, of one who kneels.
The record shows, I took the blows ---
And did it my way!
