Fusiliers frolic on the coral reef

In the coral reefs at the Similan Islands, huge swarms of these snappers often romp around and offer underwater photographers colorful motifs. The spindle-shaped fish reach a length of up to 20 cm. They eat mainly plankton.
Captured during a dive tour to the Similan island in the Andaman Sea west of southern Thailand.
