Good Luck!
A song is flooding my mind and also a poem I made together with a friend I used to hang around a very long time ago and who suddenly vanished one day in outer space without leaving a trace……But any way……there are some snippets left, a sort of once living and shared memory somehow, and I decided to share it here and mindmix it again with snippets from Neil Young’s famous and phantastic song “Sugar Mountain”. I hope good old Neil may forgive me and won’t put me down..……….
Between our lines
Walking in the forest life
Gentle waves emerge
With the barkers and the colored balloons
From deep down up to the attick of my brain
Need no pistol need no knife
Though you’re thinking that you’re leaving from here soon?
So much noise in dusty corners……
It’s so noisy at the fair
But all your friends are there…..
Do you sell the perfect stranger?
And the candy floss you had?
And your mother and your dad?
If the truth is a dream…..
Our footsteps are fading in the sand
Immortalize the only anger!
… dreams come true…..
But there's a girl just down the aisle
Oh, to turn and see her smile
You can hear the words she wrote
As you read the hidden note
Wash it out!
Oh we gotta change things…..
Leave it behind!
Come on share a shining light
A few minutes, only here and now!
That is what I’m waiting for…..
Now you're underneath the stairs
And maybe sometimes you're givin' back some glares
To people who you once had met
And this is only your first cigarette…..
Explosions make the skies so bright……!!
Maybe …..you really think for all eternety?
But no, you can’t be twenty on Sugar Mountain
Though you're thinking that you're leaving there too soon
You're leaving there. Not too soon….
