Goodbye Winter, welcome Spring !
A bouquet of wild Daffodils to welcome back springtime, today the 21th of March !
Daffodils look beautiful and attractive but they contain poison, mostly in the bulb but also in the leaves.
The bulbs could be confused with onions, thereby leading to incidents of poisoning.
In 2009 children felt hideous ill at a school in Suffolk, England after adding a Daffodil bulb to soup during a cookery class…….!

A beautifully joyful tribute to Ms Spring! :)I love reading all the professional bits of info that you put under the images. To be honest I can't imagine how one can confuse onion with a daffodil bulb:) But.. I think I will be careful from now on:) Cheers, Viola
