Grape Hyacinth
Grape Hyacinth originates from Central and South-Eastern Europe where it grows in open woodland, vineyards and mountain meadows.
It’s a popular garden plant for centuries and was already cultivated in gardens of ancient Greece and the Roman Empire.
There exists several subspecies within the Muscari genus. My shot shows the most blue version of all (neglectum).
Dutch name : Blauwe druifjes
German name : Weinbergs-Traubenhyazinth
Latin name : Muscari neglectum
