Green Globes @ Union Square
These days, I think I prefer to go with "globes," instead of the more NYC Subway-correct term "bullets."
Whatever you prefer to call such spheroids, when they are green (at least this shade), they signify the
IRT East Side Lexington Avenue lines that serve the fascinating complex at 14th St/Union Square.
This is the Downtown platform, served by 4, 5, and 6 trains. The left side is
served by the local 6 train, the right by the Brooklyn-bound express 4 and 5 trains.
This extensive underground complex also serves the BMT Broadway
Line N, Q, R, and W trains and the crosstown L Canarsie Line.
