Gunung Batok and the sand sea
During the walk to the Bromo crater we passed the inactive volcano hte Gunung Batok.
The volcano is a cinder cone and its flanks are marked by gullies, caused by the erosion of rain water. Its crater is almost completely filled with the ashes of the active neighbors Bromo.
