Hanami, the Cherry Blossoms Season
In the urban jungle of Tokyo, Hanami is the season that everybody looks forward to --- those precious few days when the cherry blossoms come out in full splendor, covering everything with their beauty.
I took this picture very quickly on a small bridge in one of the side-streets in Naka-meguro during Hanami season. We were on our way to Akihabara and we passed Naka-meguro and drove alongside the length of the small channel/river. We saw how it was all covered by cherry blossoms!
same phone cam. broad daylight... too bright daylight, sorry.

It is an absolutely beautiful sight! I am amazed how many there are, it makes it great because they are grouped together for a fabulous spectacle. Over here there are lots but not as close together. It's all down the river as far as I can see in your picture!Regards
