Hawksworth Gothic
Graveyard dated 1837-1902. The land was leased from Francis Hawksworth Fawkes for a hundred years.The history of the Hawksworth family dates back to the eleventh century when Walter de Hawksworth resided here. His father, John, came over with Willaim the Conqueror from Normandy and was subsequently killed at the Battle of Hastings in 1066.
