I shot this picture of Heather outside of an abandoned grain mill. It was soon after photo work for a CD cover and before we started work on her portfolio. I used a Canon 20D for this shot.

    Actually I shot this photo exactly the way I wanted. It was impromtu and very fun for both of us. I didn't feel it was neccesary to retouch something that was actually present in the shot.

    Nice composition. There are some things that really stick out. First is the lack of sharpness. I'm not a stickler for everything always being sharp but this really seems to need it at least on the model. 2nd her back foot looks in an odd position and not comfortable. 3rd the selective color of the tree and weeds just doesn't work, it's more distractive than anything. I just kept wondering why only part of the tree leaves were in color. 4th, some retouch on the darkened skin and crease of her inner thigh of the back leg would really help. Some sculpting on the cheek of her forefront buttock would help with it being so flattened out. A touch with the liquifyer filter on the corner of her mouth might improve the snarl. Could use some work on the tones.
